Contemporary circus artist Liza combines aerial acrobatics, contortion, comedy and illusion to tell a poignant, captivating tale of self reclamation.

Our Lady of the Home” follows the story of a housewife in 1960’s USA who finds herself unsatisfied in her reality. Perceiving her unease as a personal imbalance, she reaches out to her doctor, and decides to try a novel, auspicious medication that promises tranquility. The show explores the historical and present relationship between women and madness - and interrogates the intentions of those who define “madness” for society. It explores our right to Choose, seeking to inspire a path of personal integrity through honesty, spirituality, discernment and authentic consent. This contemporary circus show uses aerial hoop, contortion, acrobatics and comedy to explore a powerful and relevant topic. Created and performed by Liza.
