ABOUT THE SHOW
Sarah Ruhl retells the classic myth of Orpheus from his wife Eurydice’s perspective in a compelling production described as a “playground for designers.” The text which examines grief, loss and reunion - all extremely topical as we continue to live and work through the COVID-19 pandemic. Following our season’s theme of women’s relationship with fate, FCR will be focusing on how Ruhl’s interpretation puts Eurydice in control of the myth’s narrative and the effect it has on this well-known myth.
