ABOUT THE ARTIST

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Erin began acting and performing at a young age. She attended Interlochen Arts Academy, a fine arts boarding school, as a theater major in high school and then studied Acting, Creative Writing and Dance at the University of Michigan and New York University. She lived in NYC for five years and worked as an actor, stage manager, dancer and assistant director with theater and dance groups as well as a teaching artist, director and choreographer in schools across the city with organizations including The Brooklyn Arts Council, Young Audiences New York and The Multicultural Music Group. For three years Erin headed up the North Country Union High School Theater program and then spent four years as director of The Lyndon Institute Theater Company before landing at U-32 High School where she has been the director of the award winning Theater company, Stage 32, since 2010. Erin has performed in Vermont with The Blue Barn Players, The St. Johnsbury Players, Moving Light Dance Company and Lost Nation Theater. Erin is currently an MFA candidate at Goddard College in Plainfield, Vermont, studying Interdisciplinary Arts with a concentration in Theater Directing and Performance Creation. website: www.eringalliganbaldwin.com
