Jagged Little Pill Auditions

Acorn Youth Arts is proud to announce auditions for our upcoming production of Jagged Little Pill.

This production is an intense window into a year in the life of an American family in crisis. The production deals directly with issues of addiction, harassment, sexual violence, racism, homophobia, and gender identity, as well as the cost of perfectionism and trying to live the "American Dream", the impact of being a bystander, and the courage it takes to speak out. 

Participation in this production is meant for mature performers who are capable of grappling with this subject matter and who are committed to activist theater. 

This show is open to high school and college aged youth. 

Some roles may be open to adult performers. 

Mature middle school students will be allowed to participate with parent/guardian permission.

Join us for an Info Meeting 2/18 from 7-8:30 pm at our rehearsal space, 19 Church Street, Barre VT. 

Auditions will be held on the following dates:

Acting + Singing Lead and Ensemble Auditions: 

2/21: 10am-1pm; 2pm-4pm 

2/22: 2pm-4pm

Callbacks: 2/22 4pm-6pm

Dance Lead and Ensemble Auditions:

2/23: 10am-2pm

2/24: 7pm-9pm

Callbacks: 2/25 10am-2pm

Performances will be:

June 19 @ 7pm - The Barre Opera House

June 20 @ 2pm - The Barre Opera House

June 20 @ 7pm - The Barre Opera House

June 21 @ 2pm - The Barre Opera House
