An Enemy of the People

High School Footlighters present An Enemy of the People from January 29–February 1, 2026, in a bold, student-led production that is incredibly timely. Adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from Henrik Ibsen’s classic, the play asks a big question: What happens when telling the truth comes at a personal and public cost? This winter’s production is creatively led by students with the fantastic Martin Mosdal (HHS ’26) at the helm, and Catherine Anderson as his Assistant Director. Performances: Hanover High School Auditorium, with free post-show engagement events on Friday and Saturday evenings, plus book and bake sales supporting the Footlighters and civic engagement organizations chosen by the students.
