A comfortable chair with an old record crackling away is the perfect cure for the blues for our guide, Man in Chair. As he plays his favorite cast album from the Jazz Age, The Drowsy Chaperone magically bursts to fizzy life in his apartment. A Broadway starlet, her handsome fiance, a forgetful best man, a scheming ex-producer, gangsters in disguise, and a perpetually inebriated chaperone give us a night to remember... and a song or two to take with us.
