This Production was nominated for 4 NH Theatre Awards and won Best Male Actor in a Youth Production.

The Academy, in a co-production with The Performer's Playground proudly presents Shakespeare's HAMLET. The action of the play happens in the courtyard and rooms within the building that houses both Elsinore's corporate headquarters, the family residence as well as the government offices of the King and his court during the year 2024.

In the Neo-noir future corporations increasingly dominate society and the system is stacked against the young. Hamlet, the young prince has come home from school to mourn his late father, King Hamlet, and finds that his uncle has usurped his crown, married his mother, and killed his father. The young prince must grapple with his naturally rational mind disordered by grief, murder, and the hollow insufficiency of revenge.
