ABOUT THE SHOW

Live theater returns to the Upper Valley with Northern Stage’s Tiny Necessary Theater, a celebration and curation of four theater pieces that give us hope and inspiration towards a better tomorrow. The beautiful It’s Fine, I’m Fine by Stephanie Everett has been approved for live performance, making Northern Stage the first regional theater to reopen in America. It’s Fine, I’m Fine will run live on stage at the Barrette Center for the Arts October 7 – 25 and will stream online October 22 – November 29.

About It’s Fine, I’m Fine

A one-woman show written and performed by Stephanie Everett and nurtured at Northern Stage, It’s Fine, I’m Fine follows Steph as she comes to grips with a new normal after four career-ending concussions as a varsity soccer player at Dartmouth. Funny, heartbreaking, and human, It’s Fine, I’m Fine advocates for compassion in the face of all of our invisible struggles. This play was a fan favorite in 2018’s New Works Now and won the Best Festival Debut at New York’s United Solo Festival in 2019.

Recommended for ages 12 and up for mild references to sexuality and drug use.
