ABOUT THE SHOW
It is 1956 and the ladies of the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are gathering for their annual Quiche Breakfast in their community center, recently renovated to serve as a bomb shelter, while cold war tensions grow. Not deterred by the threat of nuclear attack, the leaders of this sisterhood move forward to award top prize in this year's competition.
5 Lesbians is an immersive, but not interactive, play/meeting for this quirky group of women. After disaster strikes, long-kept secrets are revealed as the play climaxes to it's hilarious and touching conclusion.
The play won the top prize at the 2012 New York Fringe Festival.
