Williams College Dance

The study of dance at Williams is grounded in the understanding that dance is a universal art form. We provide the opportunity to study and experience dance as technique, composition, history, theory, and performance in the context of a liberal arts education. Our five ensembles study and perform on and off campus throughout the academic year. Master classes, workshops, internships, residencies, concerts, and collaboration with faculty, peers, and guest artists are vital parts of the cultural experiences we offer the community. Some dance classes are available for Physical Education credit, and participation in all companies is through audition or invitation by faculty.
