Zachary Gottschall

Zachary is delighted to be an E-Term Student at Northern Stage this season. A junior at Dartmouth College, Zachary is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Theater. At Dartmouth, he portrayed Cliff in Cabaret, Lockstock in Urinetown, and Andrew in First Year, a student-written musical. Last winter, Zachary volunteered in the Republic of the Marshall Islands for ten weeks where he taught Algebra in a public high school and music directed Grease (translated in Marshallese). This past spring, Zachary music directed and portrayed Margaret Mead in Hair. He was also recently awarded the Rodney W. Alexander Theater Fellowship, an award that recognizes student achievements in stage directing, acting, and community service. When he’s not performing, Zachary loves to play piano, code, and sing with his a cappella group The Dartmouth Aires. Zachary would like to thank his parents for forcing him to audition for the musical in high school.
