Ry Poulin

Ry is an actor, director, and playwright based in Burlington, Vermont. They are currently working as the Associate Production Manager at Weston Theater Company for their Summer Season! They also co-own, and operate Between The Willows, a brand new theater company aimed at amplifying queer voices, and providing paid opportunities to local creatives. BTW is in its second season, and currently is producing The Juniper Tree, a horror ballet! In the summer of 2023, the company opened their doors with the world premiere production, Beasts of Crete, written and directed by Ry. This queer retelling of classic Greek myths went on to receive 14 Broadway World nominations, and 7 wins in the group's first year!

Ry has been involved in the Burlington theater community for over a decade, and could not be more grateful to create art here. They have done work with many local companies, such as Vermont Stage (Young Lad/Pitmen Painters), Lyric Theater (Shrek/Shrek), Complications Company (Gingerbread Scamp), Stowe Theater Guild (Ram Sweeney/Heathers), and more!
