Susan Edsall

A published writer, performer, and career consultant, Susan Edsall grew up in Montana and now lives in Kona, Hawaii. Author of the forthcoming novel Bitterroot, she has also written two memoirs, Into the Blue: A Father’s Flight and a Daughter’s Return and Saved. The sudden, unexpected death of Susan’s beloved partner Jim in 2022 upended her life. In the long climb out, after forty rainy days on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, Susan decided to return to her love of theater with Buen Camino, a 540 mile walk through rain, resentment, and redemption. Winning the 2024 Encore Award at the SOLO STARS Series, Susan has brought her show to United Solo in New York City, the Hollywood Fringe Festival, and is bringing the show to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2025.
