ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tony Seeger (selectman) started playing the banjo and singing at Camp Killooleet when he was 12 and sang in the summer choir of the Rochester Federated Church for over 50 years when he was in Vermont. He taught anthropology and ethnomusicology in Brazil and the US for 30 years and started Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. Yet, though he has sung on stages in every continent except Antarctica, this is his first musical and WRVP production.
