Mian O'Dowd

Mian O'Dowd (Eleanor/Assistant Director) was first introduced to the White River Valley Players when she moved to Rochester as a kid and got to see Dick, Dorothy, and Ethan's first original production and collaboration, Second Chance (2000). She was hooked, and although very shy at first, she went on to become involved in many Players' productions while in high school including Of Thee I Sing (2004), Guys and Dolls (2005), A Broadway Songbook (2006), and The Real Inspector Hound (2006). After achieving a degree in the Theatre Arts from UVM, she came back and was proud to have leading roles in the next two original collaborations: Ransom (2014) and The Singing Master (2018). She is so thankful and grateful to Dick, Dorothy, and Ethan for inspiring and fostering her love for theatre through the years. Mian is extremely proud to return to be a part of Rochester Light and Power.
