Niels Giddins

Born in Canada, and involved in a number of productions prior to graduation from Queen’s University School of Medicine in Kingston Ontario, Niels furthered his interests in drama with the Prairie Theatre Exchange School in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada rather many years ago. After retiring in 2022 from the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital where he had practiced since 2007, he joined the Essex Community Players in 2023. When not learning his lines or in the company of his wonderful wife and two dogs at home in Essex, Niels may be found on the Ski Patrol at Smugglers’ Notch, or exploring various trails of the Green Mountains.
