Auditions - 2025 Comedy Festival

New Stage Players, Waterbury’s community theater company, announce auditions for the 2025 Comedy Festival on Friday, December 6, 6-8pm and Saturday, December 7, 10-noon at the Grange Hall Cultural Center, 317 Howard Avenue, Waterbury Center, Vermont.

ALL WELCOME!

New Stage Players invite established theater makers and theater-curious people to join us for one of two sessions to cast new selected plays either of Friday, December 6th (6-8pm) or Saturday, December 7th (10am-noon) at Grange Hall Cultural Center, 317 Howard Avenue, Waterbury Center, Vermont. Directors will be in attendance both days to cast their chosen plays, picked from over 300 submitted nationally. On February 7-16, 2025 New Stage Players will produce these plays as hilarious evenings of shenanigans to brighten our dark winter days.

All kinds of roles will be offered. 

Only one attended session is required to be cast. 

No need to prepare anything (if you’d like to share a rehearsed monologue, bring it!) but rest assured that audition material will be provided for all those in attendance. Come young, come old, come trained, come cold. NSP’s Comedy Fest is a wonderful venture to create with your community and a good time for all!
