Pentangle Arts

Pentangle Arts is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing high quality, affordable arts programming to our community. We are proud to present movies, theater, youth enrichment and concerts throughout the year.

Founded in 1974, Pentangle supports performances that entertain, educate, and inspire audiences of all ages. Many are staged in our beloved (and historic) Town Hall Theatre. Our events are attended by as many as 5,000 local residents, and up to 7,000+ visitors annually. Beyond the theatre, our Arts in Education Program, one of the oldest in Vermont, enriches the lives of thousands of students of all ages through performances, artist residencies, camps and after school programs.

At the Town Hall, our popular first run movie theater features the largest screen and best sound system in the region. In addition to feature films, we also run topical and historic documentaries and regional film debuts.

Pentangle Arts is an integral partner in community-wide cultural events such as Woodstock’s Wassail Weekend and the Vermont Symphony Orchestra concerts at Saskadena Six.

We inspire our community with performances by world class artists, from around the corner and around the world. Recent theatrical productions have included Hair and The Rocky Horror Show, along with ArtisTree collaborations of Fiddler on the Roof, CATS and Cabaret..
