Maren Langdon Spillane

After getting her graduate degree in education, Maren lived and worked as an actor in New York City for several years. Since moving back to her native Vermont, Maren has enjoyed acting with many local companies, including Green Room Productions, Unadilla Theater, Stowe Theater Guild, Dirt Road Theater, Lost Nation Theater, Pushcart Productions, and Middlebury Acting Company. She currently runs Dirt Road Theater, a theater company based in Northfield, and teaches and directs many youth programs there, as well as acting in and producing their productions. Maren is currently the theater director at Montpelier High School, and has also taught and directed at Norwich University, U-32 High School, Warren Elementary, Pacem School, and Northfield Middle and Elementary Schools. One of her favorite acting jobs to date is performing DRT’s episodic story podcast, Fairies and Dragons, Ponies and Knights.
